As the founder of CB Design, she is building an expressive clothing brand that reflects her advocacy for individuality with the goal of supporting fellow artists in navigating and profiting within the art industry.
Penland School of Craft is a national craft education center dedicated to creative life. Located in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, Penland offers total-immersion workshops in sixteen beautifully-equipped studios along with artist residencies, a gallery and visitors center, and community programs.

Players by the Sea proudly presents Black Odyssey by Marcus Gardley, directed by Professor Ashleigh Henry. This powerful reimagining of Homer’s Odyssey fuses Black history, mythology, music, and poetry into an epic journey of self-discovery, identity, and homecoming.

Set against the vibrant pulse of Harlem, Black Odyssey follows Ulysses Lincoln, a Gulf War veteran, as he navigates a mythical path through time, history, and the African American experience.
