What a glorious celebration to cut the ribbon on the long-awaited renovations to Jacob G Smith Elementary School! The freshly imagined space honors the original mid-century design while brightening the interior, adding a beautiful new cafeteria filled with natural light, and preserving beloved features like the courtyard oak and pond, and hand-restoration of the Challenger Point sign.

It was an honor to meet the grandson of J.G. Smith who attended with his family. What a beautiful legacy!
