Septembers Golden Gators and Golden Globes have been picked! Our August Golden Gators and Golden Globe have passed on the award to Mrs. Henderson, Mrs. Fllumerfelt, Mrs. Thorne, Ms. Rhodes and Mrs. Krupitzer! Thank you, ladies, for you dedication to SWES.

We are still hosting our SWES PTA membership drive!
PTA membership is only $5.00, and parents who join will be entered into a drawing for a 32-inch Smart TV!

Our PTA meeting is Sept. 24th at 5:30. Elections will be held that night for PTA officers.

Next week is our Hispanic Heritage Month Spirit Week and Hispanic Heritage Night following our PTA meeting on Sept. 24th at 5:30. There are dress down days throughout the week. On Sept. 24th from 5:30 to 6:30 we will hold out PTA elections and celebrate Hispanic culture with songs, food and more!

Have You Checked Your Gator’s Progress Report Yet?

Progress reports became available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal at 5:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026.

With six weeks of school already completed, now is a great time to review your Gator’s academic progress. Checking grades regularly helps families celebrate successes, identify areas where additional support may be needed, and stay informed about their child's learning journey.

We also encourage families to use the Parent Portal to: ✅ Monitor attendance and stay up to date with any absences or tardies.
✅ Upload excuses for absences quickly and conveniently.
✅ View grades and progress reports throughout the school year.

A student's success is strongest when families, students, and the school work together as a team. Your involvement plays an important role in helping your Gator stay on track and achieve their goals.
