Luke and Ayden advanced to the semi final round of Duo and are currently competing to see who breaks to finals. Finals advancement will be based off accumulation of sems, quarter and octo final scores.

Congratulations to Quentin Miller for breaking to finals at the MO State Speech and Debate tournament this past weekend! Shoutout to Lucas Bowie and Ayden Gray for ranking 11th overall, just shy of breaking to the final round.

State Bound! We’ve got Quentin Miller, who qualified by receiving 2nd place at districts in U.S. Extemp and Luke Bowie/Ayden Gray who received 1st at districts in Duo Interpretation.

Shoutout to our debate side of the team who went to Congress Nat Quals today. We didn’t break, but everyone gave speeches and had a good time!

*The Heart of America is a great region where students work to support debaters in other schools. By our students challenging themselves today, they helped boost the number of students who could qualify to the national tournament from our region. 🙂
