The PVMS PTSA hosted two staff appreciation events this week to thank the amazing PVMS staff for all they do… a breakfast on Wednesday and an ice cream bar with Taharka Ice Cream on Friday. A big THANK YOU to everyone who donated or volunteered to help, and a very big THANK YOU to all of the hardworking PVMS staff 🙂

DONATIONS STILL NEEDED FOR STAFF BREAKFAST 8/19

Please help us welcome back our PVMS staff with a staff breakfast!! Donations can be dropped off at the school between 8 am-3 pm on Tuesday, August 18th or by 7:30 am on Wednesday, August 19th. There are currently around 120 PVMS staff members. If you are signing up for a cooked item and can't bring it in Wednesday morning, please message us at [email protected] and we will coordinate further with you. We can also coordinate drop off for other items after school hours on Tuesday if needed, please email to arrange this option.

Any Ice Cream Lovers Out There? Volunteers Needed!!

The PTSA is welcoming staff members back with some delicious Taharka Brothers ice cream on Friday, 8/21, at 11:15 am and we are in need of a volunteer (or maybe 2) to help scoop. We have a Taharka rep who has it all organized, all you need to is show up and scoop! It will take prob an hour to maybe 90 minutes max and it's a fun way to interact with the staff before the new school year. Join us for the Annual PVMS PTA Back‑to‑School Block Party on Friday, August 21st from 5–7 PM! It’s a perfect chance for students and families to meet teachers, connect with friends, and enjoy an evening of food, Kona Ice, music, and games as we kick off a new school year together. All PVMS students, families, and staff are invited!

Calling All Rising 6th Graders...
You are invited to the PVMS Middle School Q&A night!
Tues. 8/4/26, 5-6:30 pm (NEW DATE!!)

The PVMS PTSA would like to invite all incoming 6th graders and their parents to our rescheduled Middle School Q&A night on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5-6:30 pm, at PVMS. Parents and guardians will hear from the new PVMS principal, Peter Ga***rd, while students will get a chance to hear from current PVMS students. We will also offer short student led tours at the end of the event. Please share with other families who will be starting at PVMS in the fall 🙂 Hope to see you there!!

PVMS Middle School Q&A: POSTPONED!!!

Due to the recent changes in administration at PVMS, the PTSA will NOT be hosting the Middle School Q&A event for rising 6th graders on July 22nd. We hope to reschedule for later in the summer. We will share details with the community when we have them. Thank you for your understanding!!
