FAQs
What are “lesson credits”?
- Private Lesson Credits: 1-on-1 lessons with your instructor.
- Group & Performance Credits: Specialized group classes and/or performance opportunities.

How do payments work?
- Tuition is divided into 3 monthly installments, due on the 1st of each month.
- Fall: September 1, October 1 & November 1.

How does priority scheduling work?
- Tuition students receive priority scheduling, including for make-up lessons. À la carte lessons are scheduled based on instructor availability and may be adjusted to accommodate tuition students.

What are the cost savings?
- À la carte rates are increasing to $90/hour and $60/half-hour, while tuition pricing remains unchanged. Tuition also includes discounted rates for additional lessons and group instruction.

Can I convert a group instruction/performance credit to a private lesson?
- Yes! Notify your instructor within the first month of the quarter.
- Fall deadline: October 1.

Can I purchase additional lessons or classes as a tuition student?
- Yes! Additional private lessons and group instruction classes are available à la carte at your tuition rate. Contact your instructor to arrange.

Continuing with the performances we are uplifting this weekend, our Annual Studio Recital is TOMORROW at the Mt. Hebron Presbyterian Church!

Come support our students who've spent many hours growing their instrument, training, rehearsing, and preparing to showcase their dedication and progress! There is so much amazing work and growth to share, and we are so excited to see what everyone does! We hope to see you there!

Also, in case you missed it, our Adult (21+) Sip & Sing is TODAY, with an open piano hour after the scheduled showcase!

We're gearing up for our performances this weekend! For our adults (21+), we have our annual Sip & Sing Cabaret THIS FRIDAY!

Unwind and share some music in a relaxed, low-stakes evening with good company, and great food and drinks. Sit back and enjoy the performances of our adult singers in a low-key and intimate performance environment with a glass of w**e before joining in on some piano bar-style singalongs!

Keep an eye out for more info regarding our Studio Recital taking place this weekend! We'd love to celebrate the work of our students with the community!

Join us THIS THURSDAY for Stephanie's Masterclass on How to Ask for and Receive Targeted Creative Feedback while Maintaining Boundaries and your Sanity!!!

Thursday, May 21st at 6pm

Receiving creative feedback on your work is hard and deeply personal. We’ve all received notes that are vague, misdirected and conflicting. Join Stephanie as she outlines the three types of feedback along the creative feedback loop. Learn frameworks like Ask for Advice not Feedback or What would it take to get me to a 10? and mindset tools like So That Statements and Reflection Scripts to get the targeted and helpful feedback you seek and deserve to take control and retain ownership over your work and mindset. Together, we will put each framework into practice, acting as collective coaches for student performers.

Participants engage in call-and-response singing, interactive vocal games, and creative expression in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Whether you're a seasoned singer or just exploring your voice, you're welcome to join in at your own comfort level -- participation is always encouraged but never required. The focus is on creativity, connection, and honoring each person's unique vocal expression.

Join us TODAY for our Jazz Vocal Workshop!!! There is nothing quite like the musical freedom of singing jazz. Every decision about the music, even the lyrics, is made by you, the performer! But how do you make those decisions and set yourself up for success with your collaborators, whether they play piano, guitar, bass, drums, or a combo of two or more? Students can attend one or more classes in this open-ended lab setting, as each class will dig into the musical concepts that help them sing, swing, and improvise on popular jazz melodies. Finally, we will assemble the components needed for an effective lead sheet to use in live performances.

THIS FRIDAY!!! Bring a song you are working on and receive coaching in a small supportive group environment. Stephanie and Colleen will help you to find your unique voice and storytelling within the song and teach you some vocal hacks to help you quickly tap into your most powerful and intuitive sound. They will also teach a few mindset frameworks that can help you to frame your work with purpose and create boundaries and specificity for the feedback you seek. Walk away understanding the purpose of your work and each word you are singing and feeling stronger and clearer as both a singer, actor, and creative.
