Are you passionate about starting a career in the fire service? LSSU’s Fire Science program offers hands-on training through our on-campus fire academy, where you can obtain your Firefighter I & Il certifications, along with your EMT and Paramedic licenses. Here, you’ll learn from experienced firefighters and develop skills needed for a successful career in the fire service.

This graduation ceremony highlighted the individuals, their achievements and the achievements that their class made throughout the year. These students have worked hard throughout the 2025-26 school year to get where they are now.

We would like to thank for increasing the price of parking around campus. LSSU Public Safety has generously agreed to donate 100% of the profits towards our new emergency response vehicle. This vehicle has been ordered today and will run as Rescue 2. 🚒 Go Check it out!
