Had a productive night with Ms. Terri and Ms. Delinda at our Ribbon Workshop last night. Families made skirts, shawls, and a vest for their little ones. Miigwech to our presenters for their knowledge and assistance with choosing material, ribbons, cutting, and sewing these beautiful regalia pieces for their binojiins.

The Rabbit 🐰 Room got creative today with Ball Maze Painting! 🎨

Using colorful paint and rolling balls through a maze, the children created unique masterpieces while practicing hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and fine motor skills. It was exciting to watch the paint travel through the maze and see each child’s artwork come to life!

What a fun way to learn, explore, and create!

Last Thursday, we held our 5th Parent Meeting along with a fun and refreshing Smoothie Workshop led by Community Health’s Cody McLaren! 🍓🫐🍌

Families learned about healthy smoothie ingredients, enjoyed making their own delicious creations, and spent time connecting with one another.

Miigwech to all the families who joined us and participated! We appreciate your involvement and love creating opportunities for learning, fun, and family engagement together. ♥️

🪏🪴🫘🌽 Garden Workshop Fun! 🪏🪴🫘🌽

Last Thursday, we were excited to welcome Cody McLaren from Community Health for a wonderful gardening workshop! Families learned about the significance of the Three Sisters (corn, beans, and squash) and how these plants work together to support one another as they grow.

After learning about this traditional planting method, families got their hands dirty and planted the Three Sisters seeds along with what the Porcupine room grew in their classroom to plant in our garden! It was a great opportunity to learn, connect with nature, and help our garden grow.

A big Miigwech to Cody for sharing his knowledge and helping our families create a meaningful gardening experience. We can’t wait to watch our garden flourish!
