LSSU's "A Piece of the Reef"

LSSU's "A Piece of the Reef" The LSSU saltwater aquarium project is a project initiated by students, who are supported by faculty members. All funding is through donations.

The 160 gallon saltwater reef aquarium in Crawford Hall's main lobby is a student generated, and donation funded project aiming to increase awareness of the complexities and fragileness of coral reef ecosystems. The tank is home to several species of fish, crabs, snails, corals, and shrimp.

Are you interested in learning about Aquaponics? Join us for a hands on interactive 4-H SPIN club where we learn about caring for fish, plants, and germinating seed through observation. The Aqua Tankers 4-H SPIN club will be held on Mondays beginning-
Date: June 16, 23. 30 July 7,14, and 21st.
Time: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Location: Crawford Hall Room 249
This SPIN club is limited to 10 youth.
