Academic Success Center at LSSU The Academic Success Center provides free academic support to all registered Lake State students- from their first year to graduation!

Assisting students in the achievement of academic success! The Academic Success Center provides free academic support services and strategies for all students enrolled at LSSU, at all levels of learning (freshman through senior). Our services assist students in achieving academic success, gaining scholastic independence, improving self-esteem through:

Peer Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction (S

I)
Writing assistance at The Writing Center
Math assistance at The Math Center
Tutorial and instructional resources
Student success seminars and study strategies
Computer lab, study space, and a book-lending library are also available
ALEKS® Learning System for Math provides a self-paced, computer-based learning
Student First, Campus Connections and IPASS programs are free and open to all students. Our friendly staff will be happy to assist you in reaching your academic goals. Individual LSSU Academic Success Center staff members have been members of the NCLCA (National College Learning Center Association) since 1995.
