The Sault COL program had fun this week! We checked out the shipwreck museum, the upper falls, met some foresters out at garnet lake, made dreamcatchers at the beach, learned about the medicine wheel with YEA coordinator, Sue, and met the bees and picked berries at Waishkey Bay Farms. Plus we swam all 3 days!

The Sault Ste Marie YEA had a blast this week. We headed to the Ojibwe Museum, Fayette Ghost town, the DNR’s Pocket Park where we learned archery, fished, shot air guns and learned about animals through their pelts. We even camped in Escanaba. On our way home we even checked out Kitch-iti-kipi.

Family Fun Day is Friday June 7th. We hope to see you there.

Some of our kids had a blast learning the language, weeding beds and planting seeds and herbs out at Waishkey Bay Farms. We also had a tasty stew and yummy muffins. We send out a huge Miigwech to Amy and Kat.
