Maybe half way of throwing in some Miru-nui shibori work on this shawl before it gets dyed…and no idea what color I want to obtain. It might make it for a sale coming up SOON in Sauk. Are we ready for some warm fall colors?

The Madtown Yarn Shop Hop is an annual event spanning four days to celebrate our local fiber communities and support small, locally-owned businesses.

Pick up your passport and first stamp at Lodi Alpacas Uptown, then visit Flaxen Fleece in Sauk City for a stamp. You will receive an exclusive shop hop button just for visiting these two shops, as well as being entered into a SEPARATE drawing and qualifying for other amenities. Then map out the rest of your weekend taking a free, self-guided tour of 12 more yarn shops, fiber farms and mills across south-central Wisconsin, qualifying you for even more prizes.

I try to follow this personally and also in my business.
