Zumba is back to our usual Wednesday spot this fall! 🙌

What to expect from Zumba with Jenna's class?
Feels more like a dance party than a workout. All fitness levels and all body types welcome. Fun, inclusive, and affordable.

- Class is Wednesdays, September 23 - October 28
- 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center
- $54 for the session, drop-in for $12 per class

Stretch out the day's stress, release muscle tightness, and increase your flexibility. Whether you're a complete beginner, or an experienced practitioner looking for a gentle practice, this class is welcoming to all bodies and mobility levels.

We still have some discount tickets left; sales are open for one extra week! Stop by the Community Center office to purchase: we are open until 3:45 p.m. this week. Last day to get tickets is Friday, 9/4.

Tickets don't expire until the individual attraction closes for their season: you can buy this week and use them over the Labor Day weekend.

Taking a CPR & First Aid class isn't just about getting certified—it's about having the skills and confidence to protect the people you love most when seconds count.

What you’ll learn:
- Adult, child, and infant CPR
- How to confidently use an AED
- What to do if a child or adult is choking
- Essential first aid for injuries and burns

SPSD residents ages 55 and up, join us at the River Arts Center on September 9th to watch Thelma. In this film, Thelma (played by June Squibb) gets duped by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson, and then sets out on a treacherous quest across the city to reclaim what was taken from her.

Always wanted to play guitar, but no idea how to start? The Community Center's got you covered!

With sessions for both kids and adults, our Beginner Guitar course is designed for students just starting out with playing guitar. You'll learn basic guitar chords and strumming patterns found in folk, country, and rock music.

Guitar and picks are required, but no experience is necessary. You’ll be amazed at how fast you can learn to play the world’s most popular instrument!

Youth Session (ages 9-18):
