Carol's Violin Studio Violin teacher and performer: Suzuki method plus jazz/folk/rock I am also available for performance opportunities.

I teach violin and viola: trained as a Suzuki teacher in 2021, and also add in improvisation and country styles if the student is interested. I think classical is the best way to train, but perform in folk and rock settings in addition to the Melrose Symphony.

I’m so proud of all my 8th grade students graduating from middle school today! Such a transformational time in life - and I’m happy to have witnessed their growth as musicians and more importantly humans!

We had a wonderful recital last night. Everyone played so well and should be very proud!

Wonderful rehearsal for my studio’s end of year recital last night. If anyone is thinking of signing up for lessons and wants to hear how my students progress, recital is Tuesday May 26. DM me, and I’ll provide more info.

One thing I love doing as a teacher is creating multi-generational music making opportunities - students and adults together. My middle school chamber group has combined with a high schooler, myself, and two parents of students to play the beautiful Aria, Ebarme Dich Mein Gott from Bach's St. Matthew's Passion at the First Congregational Church in Melrose.

Carol's Violin Studio - students, teacher plus parent musicians offering the Music of St. Matthew's Passion at First Congregational Church Melrose.
