I’ve had a rough cough the past couple of days and the only thing I’ve been able to motivate myself to do is practice my set up for my event this weekend! Still working on adding a few things so we’re totally prepared for Saturday. Hope to see you there!

Wanting to know if a medication is safe to take while breastfeeding??

Of course we should always ask our providers who are prescribing a medication to us if it is safe or not! However, if you forget to ask or just want to be sure, here’s some evidence based practice to show what is considered safe or unsafe!

The InfantRisk Center helps moms, lactation consultants, and doctors evaluate safety risks to infants from medication exposure, and keep the mom breastfeeding.

Alrighty everyone! Time for me to (re)introduce myself!

I’m a mom of two amazing kiddos. I am a nurse. I am a military spouse and have served in the National Guard for almost 12 years. I’m crafty as a mother! 🪡 Animal lover. Obsessed with good coffee and good food. Avid reader, hello ACOTAR fans?! 😂 And among so many things I am a lactation consultant (LC).

My family and I moved to Sartell, MN recently and we are finally getting settled in to where I feel I can be a little more active on my page!

My goal as an LC is to guide, educate, and support not only those breastfeeding mamas but their families as well! I am here for you and I am looking forward to working with many of you!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that my last day working at W**d Army Community Hospital is next Friday, March 3rd. I wanted to thank all of you who have trusted me with helping you breastfeed ❤️ It has been an honor and a blessing!

With all of that being said, I spoke with my OIC in Primary Care and I am going to put a breastfeeding support group.

This will be taking place at the classroom in Primary Care this Friday the 24th. There will be one in the morning from 0930-1030 and one in the afternoon from 1300-1400.

If you would like to join, please comment or message me which time you will be there!

Please, please, please check in with the front desk like a regular appointment before you arrive to the group!
