WE ARE KICKING OFF the beginning of LEAP TESTING as our 7th grade students plan to βStomp out testingβ in their Air Force Ones.
A very special thank you goes out to our Superintendent and all Supervisors and staff members of the Webster Parish School Board for these special treats.
Often, students play pranks on their school when they leave it, but not our NWJH Chargers! The 8th graders decided to invest in a magnolia tree and a live oak tree to plant on our campus, and today was planting day. What a wonderful way to leave your imprint at school. π We look forward to seeing pictures of these students standing beside βtheirβ trees as they and the trees grow!
Thank you so much goes out Sarepta Church of Christ for the precious gifts they left in our lounge Monday to show love to our teachers!
Thank you 4H and LSU Agcenter for the yummy cookies delivered to our teachers today!!!!!
You should have seen this cake before we destroyed it! πTHANK YOU HARRISON CHAPEL π for blessing our teachers today with donuts, and encouraging notes!! If there had been any left over, we would have a picture, but they were fabulous and enjoyed quickly. πTHANK YOU PIGGLY WIGGLY π for donating the yummy cake! You guys made us feel so special.
Old Sarepta Church kicked off Teacher Appreciation at NWJH in grand style this morning with their βWhatATeacherβ theme! Who knew that Whataburger served cinnamon rolls, chicken biscuits, or egg and cheese biscuits?? Who in their right mind drives to Shreveport to get Whataburger at 5 AM? Old Sarepta folks do! Plus-the breakfast casseroles were divine! THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. Thank you so much for taking the time to encourage us!!
Greetings! If your child went on the field trip, they are coming through Bossier City! Be at the school in about 45 minutes!

Our school needed help communicating with our community stakeholders, and we are now better equipped to do just that! We are so thankful for the installation of our new sign this week, which was purchased from Main Street LED Signs, LLC, in Minden. Our NWJH Student Council spearheaded the effort to help raise funds, and the joint effort of students, administration, & the district ensured completion of the task. Today our Student Council members, Mrs. Kennedyβs home room, our School Board member, & our principal celebrated the new communication tool with pizza and pictures in front of the sign. Please enjoy our pictures below, & have patience with us as we are learning to utilize it!
Congratulations to Mr. Andre Hampton and Mrs. Jessica Kennedy, our TWO NWJH Teachers of the month for April!
LEAP testing begins after our April Intersession, and we will celebrate by having a dress up week to prepare! Our student council chose our themes!
