Robotics Build Day 1

We had a great time at the State Robotics Championship this weekend at Auburn University. The girls represented us well, ending up ranked #26 out of 74 teams. Not bad for our first year of competition robotics! Kelly Bryan and I are grateful for this opportunity and blessed to be able to coach these kiddos. Thank you to all of the parents, as well! They kept me well fed and hydrated, but more importantly they supported and encouraged the girls every step of the way!

I'm so proud of our Robotics teams. The Fantastic 8 finished 3rd and the RoboLions finished 4th overall in their tournament last Saturday in Cordova.

Our Robotics Teams did amazing at their very first tournament yesterday. The girls' team, RoboLions, brought home the TeamWork Champions trophy, which qualified them for the State Competition. The boys' team, Fantastic 8, finished with the 2nd highest average in points earned for competition matches, 5th in Finals, and 6th overall in Skills. The girls came in 4th for competition matches, 1st in Finals, and 3rd in Skills.
