Students from our heritage class crafted beautiful lanterns to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Saratoga Vision Chinese School wishes everyone a joyful and auspicious Year of the Horse, filled with happiness and prosperity

Happy Lunar New Year! Last Friday, with the help of wonderful parents, CFL students made and enjoyed yummy dumplings and learned about the cultural ties between traditional foods and Chinese New Year. We wish everyone a prosperous Year of the Horse and a wonderful break building memories with friends and family. See you all on February 27, 2026.

Winter Solstice comes tomorrow, December 21, 2025! Every year diverse cultures in the world celebrate this special day. We introduced some traditional Chinese celebrations to the students last Friday. Here are some pictures of them making and eating sweet rice balls outdoor and indoor classroom activities. Happy Winter, everyone!

Three of our amazing CFL teachers presented their paper at the annual ACTFL Conference. We are truly grateful for their contributions and exceptionally high level of professionalism. Their commitment is what makes SVCS a special and effective learning community.

Confucius is one of the greatest teachers and philosophers in China. People celebrate his birthday on September 28 every year. Last night, we gave a bouquet to eqch teacher at SVCS, where every teacher works their best to provide differentiated education tailored to our students’ need and aptitude, just as Confucius did 2500 years ago. Thank you, teachers. Happy Teacher’s Day!
