Bravo to our Orchestras at CMEA Festival today! String Orchestra received an Excellent rating with a Superior rating in sight reading & Chamber Orchestra received a Unanimous Superior rating! We’re so proud of your performances and can’t wait to prepare for our End-of-Year concerts!

Proud of both Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble for the Excellent performances at Del Mar today! Both groups also received a Superior rating in sight reading!!

Celebrate our Carnegie Hall performance by coming to Del Mar HS March 25th at 7PM for our exchange Carnegie Hall Tour Preview Concert! We’ll be sharing the stage with the Del Mar HS Symphonic Band and Monroe MS Advanced Band, providing our community an opportunity to hear our performance before we take it to New York! You won’t want to miss our program, “American Dream,” which includes “Amazing Grace” by Joshua Idio, a West Coast preview of our commissioned piece (written exclusively for us & our performance) “Disco District” by Alec Schantz honoring the life of Harvey Milk and his impact to the LGBTQIA+ community in the Bay Area, and “Danzon No. 2” by Arturo Marquez. Admission is free and donations will be accepted and split amongst the performing groups. We hope you can come enjoy an amazing evening of music making with us!

Spring has come! Don’t miss our Spring Concert next Tuesday, March 24th, at 7PM! Come with your best floral/light-colored attire and enjoy an evening of music as we also showcase a preview of pieces we’re preparing for festivals! 💐🌺

Our winter activities had an amazing competition day! Our Winterguard received their first 1st place in program history in the Regional AAA division at the CCGC Fremont Show, and our drum major, Lainey Orque, earned 1st place in the Field Conducting Majors category and 3rd overall out of 55 competing drum majors at NCBA’s San Mateo show! We’re SO proud of all of our students and staff for their energetic performances today!

Welcome back from break! Join us Tomorrow, this Wednesday, and Saturday for an amazing winter concert series from all areas of our program! Our bands & orchestras concerts will be free admission with donations appreciated and our guitar classes and chorus club will combine with Leigh guitar & choir for an exciting evening at Christmas in the Parks in Downtown San Jose!

And with that, the Pather Marching Band & Color Guard closes the book on “Prisoners of Time” with an amazing run at the WBA James Logan (“J-Lo”) Regional Championships! We celebrated our seniors with traditions throughout the week and a special senior brunch before the awards ceremony. Thank you to all the students, staff, families, & supporters who have supported the Marching Band throughout the season! Without you all, this season couldn’t have been as special as it has been! Lastly, thank you to our seniors for your dedication and work being part of the program!!! You’ve inspired so many of your staff and peers and should be proud of the impact you’ve made for this program. Cheers and see everyone at banquet! Until our next chapter……

Last football game of the season and SENIOR NIGHT for football, cheer, marching band and color guard! Come show these seniors some love and fill the stands this Thurs. Nov. 6th! Seniors will be announced at 6:30pm, and the varsity game will begin at 7:15pm! Let's go Panthers!
