Today we had an unplanned fire drill during lunch. A sensor in one of our classrooms had an issue and triggered the alarm. Our students and staff did an excellent job of evacuating and waiting for directions. Once we received the all clear, we were able to return to an extended lunch. The fire fighters came and the students cheered them on as they checked out our smoke detectors.

Next Wednesday, April 27th, is our Science-O-Rama (Science Fair). The students are busy putting their finishing touches on their projects. All students will get a chance to look at the projects as they walk through the MPR with their class. Parents are invited to our evening viewing.
Yash & Ishaan (3rd grade) are running a water campaign as a part of the Science O Rama and they are working on " Drought". They are partnering with SJ Water Board with this campaign and doing a series of water conservation activities starting May - July , as they are the hottest months.

The Giving Trees are up and waiting for Argo families to help make someoneās Holiday wish come true! Stop by the office with your student and pick up a tag. All gifts need to be dropped off to the Argo office by December 2. Itās a perfect time to help others and to teach our students about the wonderful gift of giving.
