Also, I wanted to add that "Pilot" the litter's mom just added another AKC title on 6/2/26 "CGCA". it's never to late to bring out your seniors to play and receive more titles. Pilot is 12 years 6 months and still going strong. Presently she is also working on obtaining AKC Scent work titles.

In all the excitement of how this litter is progressing I received heartbreaking news. Beautiful little Sage was killed by a car. Apparently, she was in hot pursuit of a cat that she squeezed out a gate and was killed. In my 35 years of breeding I have never had this happen. My heart aches for this heavenly little one I know she will watch over her siblings as their guardian Angel.

Two of the pups in this litter will be little hunters. One is on track to be a service dog and the other a hiking/backpack buddy.

Little Butterball is now the proud owner of three Medallions in 6 months, Star Puppy, Spring Scurry and her latest FIT Dog Bronze. She is working on her pointing and her title of Virtual Manners Puppy.
PVR'S Dakota....is working on her bird work, for she will be hunting duck and upland birds for her family's dinner table👍

Yesterday was the Santa Clara Dog Training Club Fit Dog Walk at Lake Almaden. It was a beautiful day for taking fur paws out and enjoying a soothing environment.
Today Senior Pilot 12.4 years and Mustang 7 years 9 months, and the youngest pup at 6 months Butterball did their Fit Dog walk towards titles.
Both "Pilot" and "Mustang" are working on their Gold Titles. The youngest "Butterball", just finished walking for her Bronze Title pending AKC approval. I am very proud of the PVR gang🥰
Little "Butterball" also got some pointing practice in her walk, there are ducks and geese all over and for pointing dogs it's hard not to focus on these birds. So, I got walking and bird training at the same time. I am hoping that "Butterball", will remember how to stand on her birds like she did today. She has the genetics to be a great bird dog! Time will tell🤞

We were walking down the street in downtown Los Gatos, when a pigeon flew overhead and landed on the sidewalk. She threw this beautiful point and held it till it walked around and flew off. She just might be ready for the upcoming fall hunt test👍
