Over the spring and summer, the library created a new collection called The Library of Things.

These are non-traditional items. While some of these items we’ve had for years like our museum passes, record players, and bird watching kit, we now have a slew of new items for you to try.

Celebrate Pride Month at Lucy Scribner Library!

The library has a plethora of resources that you can use to research LGBTQIA+ topics including the database LGBTQ Source for coverage of the most important literature regarding le***an, gay, bisexual and transgender issues.

We also have the primary source database LGBT Magazine Archive, which chronicles more than six decades of the history and culture of the LGBT community.

Along with scholarly sources, we have plenty of popular reading in our various collections like popular reading (first floor), graphic novels (PN call numbers on the 3rd floor), young adult novels (PZ call numbers on the 3rd floor), and children’s books (3rd floor).

You can also stream popular movies with our streaming database Swank.
