“Congratulations to the Class of 2025 and Goodbye.” 🥳

Last night, nineteen Criminal Justice Studies students from the Myers Center walked across the stage to receive their CTE Diplomas and awards. We also had eight juniors volunteer to help that night. Great Job! I am proud of you!

It was a bittersweet moment for me, as I am retiring, and this is my last time being honored as the teacher of this fantastic program, which I have led over the past 31 years.

This night will be added to the great memories I have of all these young men and women whom I’ve seen grow and benefit from what CTE has to offer over my time at BOCES! I have truly enjoyed being your teacher and couldn’t think of a better and more rewarding career that I could have chosen! I have learned more from all of you than you can imagine, and I look forward to reflecting on those life lessons while enjoying my retirement.

I leave with the knowledge that the CJS Class will continue to grow and prosper no matter who your new teacher is. The students have always been the ones to help steer the class with their sense of passion, commitment, and understanding of family. This is why we will always be CTE STRONG! I will remember ALL of you!

Ms. Brooks, Ms. Worth, and Mr. Buckley…Thank you for everything, and I look forward to hearing about all the great things that will happen moving forward!
It's been my honor to have been your colleague and friend. All our staff have shown why we are so committed to our students and sincerely care.

To my past students, “Thank you” for making me a better teacher and for the awesome memories. I will never forget! To future CJS students and next year's class. “You Got This!” Remember what you’ve learned and be the mentors of new students who choose this class. You will get out of it what you put in.

Annual Student Recognition Ceremony for 2025! The ceremony took place at the regularly scheduled board meeting on, Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Ballard Road.

Congratulations to our very own Alexa Parella who received two awards. 1st Place NYS SkillsUSA Customer Service and 1st Place for Employment Application Process Basic.

Great job Alexa! Way to represent CJS!

Congratulations to the 2025 Kiwanis Scholarship Recipients! These high school seniors were recognized for their outstanding community service and leadership.

The Steven A. Nutting Memorial Scholarship was presented to Mattison Denes (Greenwich High School) and Hannah Fortner (Lake Luzerne High School). Mattison plans to pursue a career as a homicide detective, and Hannah plans to study law.

The Saratoga High School Key Club Award was presented to Sloane Mulcahy who plans to study applied molecular biology and biotechnology.

The Culinary Arts Award was presented to Diana Miller (Saratoga High School) and Brian Kuhl (Saratoga High School). Diana is seeking a career in food and beverage management, while Brian hopes to become a pastry chef.

Congratulations award winners, and thank you for your service to the community!

Congratulations to our 2024-2025 CJS Student of the Year Award recipient Juliannah Crosse! 🌟

Juliannah added her name to the "Wall of Fame," which has featured a senior on it since 1998.
Each year, a student is selected based on leadership, motivation, personal growth, and much more over two years.

The photos also show all these students since the start. Wow…Looks like we’re starting to run out of room. A lot of great memories!

We wish Juliannah and ALL our 2025 graduates our very best in whatever career they decide to pursue!

“Awards Ceremony Days at Myers”

Wow.... What an awesome two days! Our class had a great time from our barbeque to the water balloon toss.

CJS Seniors received their gifts from the Juniors along with emotional speeches on how the Seniors helped them during the year. All students also received a Class Yearbook and a DVD with over 3000 photos from throughout the year! Some past graduates even came by to visit and wish me a happy retirement! : )

Students also got to "relive the past year" by watching a slideshow each student helped to create. Great Memories! Wow, did we do a lot! Never forget the Class of 2025!

Oh....Let's not forget our year-end drawing in which students earned "tickets" throughout the year. Many prizes were won, from stuffed animals to gift cards and much more! (Graduates...Do you remember what you won in your year?)
