Lisa's Little Learners

Lisa's Little Learners A preschool in Saratoga Springs dedicated to helping 3 and 4 year olds cultivate their enthusiasm for learning through discovery, play, and exploration. Hi!

I am an experienced elementary school teacher who holds an active level 2 teaching license. I would now like to dedicate my expertise as well as my love of children to teaching your wonderful preschool kiddos. Your children are at an age where their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning are ready to be cultivated, and I will do this through a combination of play and discovery as we explore letters and literacy, math, science, art, music, and the world around us.

Graduations this week were fabulous!! It was so fun getting to recognize all the kiddos and their wonderful accomplishments this year. After 7 years of doing the preschool I will be pursuing a new adventure, so this was my last week of preschool for good. I want to thank all the parents who have shared their children with me over the years. I have loved my time with all of them and I will always love each and every one of them ❤️

We learned how flowers grow and the different parts of a flower, colored flowers using color-by-number, and sang fun songs about flowers. The 3 year olds used the bottom of soda bottles dipped in paint to create pictures of flowers, and the 4’s made fun projects to show the parts of a flower and the life cycle of a flower. The kiddos had so much fun at their Valentine’s Day parties this week!! We played valentine bingo and ate treats. We decorated paper sacks to collect valentines. The kids thought passing out their valentines was the most fun part of the entire party. We continued the Valentine fun all week with several crafts including a Valentine puppy made almost entirely of hearts and a Valentine person also made of all hearts. We had to squeeze a little learning in with all this fun. The 4 year old classes learned the -OT word family and displayed some of the words they learned by creating an ice cream cone where each scoop had another word written on it. The 3’s learned the letter T and created a T is for Tree. Next week we have special projects planned in honor of President’s Day. 😊
