Ava and the Love A Sea Turtle are hard at work educating residents of coastal North Carolina about the importance of fishing line recycling!
Ava & friends deliver monofilament recycling containers to Kitty Hawk Kites. Empty tennis ball cans are repurposed into personal size bins to hold discarded fishing line.

Big thanks to our partners at Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute and students at Merritt Island High School for their recent work to assemble and distribute personal sized fishing line recycling bins as part of their work to protect marine wildlife from fishing line entanglement. Keep up the great work!
