Greetings from Yellowstone! π
While exploring one of our nation's most awe-inspiring places, we're reminded that music is everywhere, in the rush of a waterfall, the distant call of wildlife, and the quiet moments that make us stop and listen.
We hope our SMC families are enjoying a wonderful summer filled with adventure, discovery, and music.
And for those preparing for the next musical adventure, our All-State Audition Preparation Intensive begins Monday with Foundation Week. We look forward to welcoming students back to the Conservatory as they continue building their skills and confidence.
Enjoy the rest of your summer weekend, and keep making music! πΆ

An evening filled with music, mentorship, and community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the SMC Rising Stars Gala and helped make the night so special. From inspiring performances by SMC students and alumni to meaningful side-by-side collaborations with professional musicians through SMCβs Young Artists Program (YAP), the evening reflected the heart of what SMC strives to build for young artists.
Your support helps create opportunities for students to grow not only as musicians, but as confident and collaborative artists through real performance experiences.
We are grateful to our supporters, sponsors, families, faculty, performers, and guests for celebrating with us and investing in the future of music education. πΆ
