Does long multiplication homework sometimes end in frustration? You aren't alone! πβ
Memorizing the steps is one thing, but understanding why we do them makes all the difference. When we move to Step 2 and multiply the tens place, that placeholder zero is absolutely crucial! It reminds us that we aren't just multiplying by 2; we are multiplying by 20.
