God calls us to His purpose in this life. If you are a Christian woman feeling as though something is missing or that God is holding out on you, it may be time for a course correction. God, in His mercy and grace calls us back to Himself to anchor us in His love and purpose in order that we may live our life abundantly.

On the evening of July 16, 1999, John F. Kennedy Jr., the son and namesake of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, died when the light aircraft he was flying crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Kennedy's wife, Carolyn Bessette, and sister-in-law, Lauren Bessette, were also on board and died. The Piper Saratoga had departed from New Jersey's Essex County Airport, and its intended route was along the coastline of Connecticut and across Rhode Island Sound to Martha's Vineyard Airport.[3][4]

The official investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) concluded that Kennedy fell victim to spatial disorientation while he was descending over water at night and consequently lost control of his plane. Kennedy did not hold an instrument rating and therefore was only certified to fly under visual flight rules. At the time of the crash, the weather and light conditions were such that all basic landmarks were obscured, making visual flight challenging, although legally still permissible.

How sad that JFK Jr. was not fully trained in the use of his instruments but relied on his sight alone. This tragedy may well have been avoided had he been fully prepared for these weather conditions. Not unlike we as Christians who need to prepare ahead of time for rough weather in our own lives. We need to rely on the instrument of our faith in Jesus to navigate through these storms. When we fail to do so, relying on our emotions and our limited knowledge, we can easily crash and burn. Are you prepared to navigate through the storms with your faith deeply rooted in the knowledge of God's word and His promises? I encourage you to train through Bible study and Christian teaching to prepare for the "when", not the "if" of the storms that come along in this life.
Be Blessed,
Coach Kelly

How To Meet God at Your Lowest Point - Ann Voskamp 06/17/2021

How To Meet God at Your Lowest Point - Ann Voskamp When I witnessed this woman's audition on American's Got Talent, I could feel it with millions of others around the world -- a rare and holy thing was happening. And when Jane Marczewski, a graduate of Liberty University and a cancer warrior, stood under the falling awe of the show's golden buzzer,

This is a call to action for all Christians šŸ’—
WEEKLY WORD:
On April 6, 1980, 205 people attended the first public worship service in a new church in California planted by Rick Warren. Twenty five years later 30,000 people gathered at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, to celebrate 25 years of ministry at Saddleback Church. At the culmination of a three-hour service of worship and remembrance, thousands rose to their feet to read the following together as a commitment to doing God’s will for the next 25 years. Wouldn’t it wonderful if individuals and churches throughout the world could get their congregations to stand up and make this declaration:
Today I am stepping across the line. I’m tired of waffling and I’m finished with wavering; I’ve made my choice, the verdict is in and my decision is irrevocable. I’m going God’s way. There’s no turning back now!
I will live the rest of my life serving God’s purposes with God’s people on God’s planet for God’s glory. I will use my life to celebrate His presence, cultivate His character, participate in His family, demonstrate His love, and communicate His word.
Since my past has been forgiven and I have a purpose for living and a home awaiting in heaven, I refuse to waste any more time or energy on shallow living, petty thinking, trivial talking, thoughtless doing, useless regretting, hurtful resenting, or faithless worrying. Instead, I will magnify God, grow to maturity, serve in ministry, and fulfill my mission in the membership of His family.
Because this life is preparation for the next, I will value worship over wealth, ā€œweā€ over ā€œme,ā€ character over comfort, service over status, and people over possessions, position, and pleasures. I know what matters most and I’ll give it all I’ve got. I’ll do the best I can with what I have for Jesus Christ today.
I won’t be captivated by culture, manipulated by critics, motivated by praise, frustrated by problems debilitated by temptation or intimidated by the devil. I’ll keep running my race with my eyes on the goal, not the sidelines or those running by me. When times get tough, and I get tired, I wonā€˜t back up, back off, back down, back out or backslide. I’ll just keep moving forward by God’s grace. I’m Spirit-led, purpose-driven and mission-focused so I cannot be bought, I will not be compromised, and I shall not quit until I finish the race.
I’m a trophy of God’s amazing grace so I will be gracious to everyone, grateful for every day, and generous with everything that God entrusts to me.
To my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I say: However, Whenever, Wherever, and Whatever you ask me to do, my answer in advance is yes! Wherever you lead and whatever the cost, I’m ready. Anytime. Anywhere. Anyway. Whatever it takes Lord; Whatever it takes! I want to be used by you in such a way, that on that final day I’ll hear you say, ā€œWell done, thou good and faithful one. Come on in, and let the eternal party begin!ā€
