For 13 years, The Learning Cottage has had the joy of welcoming children through our doors, watching them learn, grow, and become their own little people. What started 13 years ago has grown into a community filled with wonderful children, supportive families, and dedicated teachers. We are so grateful to everyone who has been a part of our journey and helped make The Learning Cottage the special place it is today

**Teacher of the Month — August**

Let’s give a big shoutout to our August Teacher of the Month, **Ms. Stefanie!**

Ms. Stefanie is our Advanced Pre-K teacher, and she is doing amazing things in her classroom. Not only is she working on phonemic awareness, but she is also helping turn her students into early readers!

Thank you, Ms. Stefanie, for all the love, dedication, and hard work you pour into your students each day. We are so proud to have you as part of The Learning Cottage team!

ABC’s & All About Me!

Our first week of the academic year has been a success! Our students are settling in, learning, and having so much fun.

This month, we’re focusing on “All About Me!” as we get to know one another and celebrate what makes each of us special.

☀️ Summer so far at The Learning Cottage! ☀️

We are soaking up all the summer vibes and making the most of every moment! Our friends have been busy exploring nursery rhymes, enjoying water play, diving into Summer Camp adventures, and bringing childhood favorites to life with stories like Jack and the Beanstalk and so much more.

Ms. Brittany from Mote Marine visited us to teach all about manatees and dolphins!

We learned that manatees use their vibrissae (whiskers) to find food and have marching molars that replace worn teeth. We also discovered that every dolphin’s dorsal fin is unique, like a human fingerprint, and that dolphins breathe through a blowhole.

Our friends even got to see real skeleton parts and learned so many fun facts. Thank you, Ms. Brittany, for a wonderful visit!
