New College History

14th Annual History Party! We are delighted to invite you to the NCF Year-End History Party, to be held TOMORROW, Saturday, May 20, about 5-9pm. The new venue is Casa McCarthy-Beneš, just down the Trail at 1627 Cocoanut Avenue (corner of Cocoanut and 17th Street—park only on 17th). All current and prospective history concentrators and affiliates, as well as local alums, are welcome, so please forward this to anyone we may inadvertently have missed.

12th Annual History Party!

Dear History folks: You are all cordially invited to the 12th annual NCF History party, which Dr Harvey will host at his house on Tuesday, May 19, from about 6-9 PM. This is a casual affair (burgers, hot dogs, and picnic fare outside by the pool), so dress accordingly and feel free to bring swimsuits and towels, if you like. The party is open to all alums, current, and prospective history concentrators, so please forward this to anyone we may have inadvertently omitted. Attention alums! We've had an inquiry about a full-time position available teaching honors and AP world history at Archimedean Upper Conservatory (www.archimedean.org) in Miami: they're looking for someone for *this upcoming school year*. As in previous years, we will provide burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, and a variety of sides and desserts. We will be outside by the pool, so dress accordingly, and feel free to bring swimsuits and towels, if you wish.
