If I had a dollar for every time I've been asked about scholarships, I could pay for every student’s tuition for a year! OK, maybe just a year’s supply of Ramen, but you get the idea. I've decided to answer all the most popular questions, as concisely as possible, in this Ultimate Scholarship FAQ. I...

Update from Andy

Pushing the Boundaries of Higher Education
It happens everywhere: sitting at my desk; on the staircase in between classes; walking through Russell Square Park; and even while I’m cooking dinner. I remind myself repeatedly of the unbelievable opportunities I’ve been blessed with thus far in life; the ones that have brought me over 4,000 miles...

Mr. Andrews is hounding me to remind y'all to not forget about those scholarships ~ I know seniors are stressed right now just applying to college, but these are the most important months for those scholarship applications. It'll be worth it in the end, I promise =)

Hey BHS CFES members,
My name is Tiffany Corbitt and I'm a junior at UF. Seniors, if you need any help as far as applications or anything just let me know and shoot me a message. One piece advice, stay on top of your scholarship and college app. deadlines, it'll all be worth it in the end. Those of you who are not seniors yet, continue to do well and stay in touch with Mr. A. Good luck everyone and have a great year:)

As already said, it is important to stay on top of things and get everything together early. Utilize the resources at Booker, many students are not as lucky as we are to have Mr. Andrews seeking out scholarships and helping us through the college process. Also, make sure to look at ALL of you options, don't limit yourself, and listen to advice, at the end of the day it is still your decision. Goodluck. Feel free to ask any questions.
