The YSU Alumni Football club will be hosting The Jermaine Hopkins Memorial Golf Outing February 19-20 at the Boca Raton Golf and Racquet Ball Club. All proceeds for the event go back to directly support the football program.🏈

Chapter Leader Richard Spong '64 (pictured center) was awarded the "2025 Volunteer of the Year" at the 2025 Valspar Championship PGA Tournament held in March at the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, FL. 🏌️‍♀️🌴

This year concludes his 25th year of service to this event. He was recognized with this honor out of the 2500 volunteers that work at the tournament annually.

It was a perfect day at the ballgame for these Penguins! YSU alumni enjoyed getting together at the Cleveland- Tampa Bay baseball game last Saturday. Alumni of all ages gathered together to show their penguin pride as they cheered on both teams. 🐧⚾❤

The Tampa Bay alumni chapter hosted a mixer following Youngstown Day in Sarasota. Watch for the chapter’s next gathering at the Air Supply/Little River Band concert at The Sound on Saturday, March 23.

The Tampa Bay Alumni Chapter gathered for a Rays vs. Guardians game on Sunday. A few members of the Youngstown State Alumni - Orlando chapter took a drive to catch the game with fellow Penguins.
