It’s time for another “Meet the Teacher Feature!” This week, it’s our new second grade teacher, Ms. Pam Joyce.

Ms. Joyce has more than 18 years of teaching experience and holds certifications in pre-K through grade six elementary education and pre-K through grade 12 Exceptional Student Education. She’s passionate about helping every child grow academically, socially and emotionally and we’re thrilled to have her at Innovation Academy SRQ.
“I believe that every student deserves a classroom where they feel safe, supported, and inspired to do their very best,” Ms. Joyce says. “I believe that when educators and families work together, children flourish. I look forward to partnering with our second-grade families to create an exciting and successful school year filled with learning, discovery, and growth.”

When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Joyce loves spending time with family and friends, walking her Great Dane, exploring the outdoors, playing pickleball and staying active through CrossFit.

We love ending the week with a cold, creamy confection—curated by our Head of School, Mrs. Jenkins! This week, our kiddos got to choose from KitKat cones, Oreo cookie ice cream sandwiches, Luigi's flavored ice and Popsicles.

🐝 What an incredible morning at the Bee Learning Center!

It was wonderful to see firsthand the impact this partnership is having on our students, alongside board member Rosalind Hill and our Director of Development, Lori Benton.

Through our partnership with the Bee Learning Center, IASRQ students in grades K–3 can receive FREE after-school tutoring and care until 6:00 PM — and Innovation Academy SRQ provides FREE transportation to the Bee Learning Center!

That means families can take advantage of:

✨ FREE early care at IASRQ beginning at 7:00 AM
📚 FREE academic tutoring for K–3 students after school
🚌 FREE transportation to the Bee Learning Center
🐝 FREE After-school care and learning opportunities until 6:00 PM

From the beginning of the school day to the end, we’re building partnerships that give our students more time, more support, and more opportunities to succeed.
