🦮🐾We introduce you to John and his therapy dog Cooper, who have done nearly 1,200 therapy visits to hospitals, nursing homes and schools. Cooper is an 8-year-old white lab and 108 pounds of pure love. He went through the therapy dog program at the Humane Society of Sarasota County.
🐢🌊Then we show you a joint effort between Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium and The Florida Aquarium to send two sea turtles home. They rescued Valerie and Mahomes, who were both sick from red tide.
🐅🦥The journey continues at Big Cat Habitat, a nonprofit animal sanctuary, where you see an exclusive parade of the animals. Meet Stella the two-toed sloth, a gator, and a tiny lemur.

Hi, everyone! Many of you remember me as an anchor & reporter on SNN. Now I'm back in news in a different way!
I started my own nonprofit No Blues News, a good news ONLY digital newscast. I will be telling uplifting stories again to spread positivity, kindness and hope, and I hope you'll follow along for the journey!

So honored to receive a Telly Award for a special series: “Inside PJ’s Brain.” I’m so thankful for Diane & PJ choosing to be so open and share their story with me..and become such special friends. Your bond with someone is definitely stronger after you’ve seen the inside of their brain! 🧠 PJ, I know your bravery has reached countless men and women with Parkinson’s, and maybe you’ve inspired several people out there to get Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery and go get their lives back. Every time you step on the golf course, you demonstrate the astounding resilience of the Parkinson’s community. You two are so special and I am beyond humbled to have told your story on SNN, The Suncoast News Network. ♥️💘
