Congratulations to Maddy Noel and Benny Hickman on their Junior Exhibition ‘Interwoven Transcendence’ this past Thursday 💐💛👏
The gallery space, glowing with vibrant color, immediately came to life. Through abstracted organic forms, radiant sunsets, and rich, expressive hues, viewers are invited into an emotional space where art is not merely observed, but deeply felt. The works evoke a contemplative mood, inviting us to reflect on love, grief, and memory. Beautiful exhibition, congratulations!! ⭐️

Congratulations to Romina Bonomi and Anasofia Diaz on their Senior Exhibition ‘To destroy, you have to create. To hate, you have to love’ this past Friday 💐💐👏
Working across installation, video, and printmaking, the artists created an atmosphere that felt delicate yet quietly charged with tension. The work offered a compelling exploration of the fragile boundary between danger and intimacy, creation and rupture. Wonderful exhibition, congratulations! ⭐️

This Thursday April 23rd is the Senior Thesis Exhibition ‘To destroy you have to create, to hate you have to love’ by artists Romina Bonomi and Anasofia Diaz. Make sure to stop by Crossley Gallery from 5:30-8:00 pm!! ⭐️💐👏

This Exhibition is about continuously constructing and deconstructing the layers of the self in order to better understand them and take agency over them.

Across installations, printmaking, sculpture, and video, the exhibition recreates spaces to revisit them from different perspectives. Figurative images, moving visuals, and text act as tangible threads that connect back to memories and emotions, changing meaning through repetition and context. Within this structure, Bonomi’s practice explores the coexistence of her guilt and desire within contemporary feminism. Drawing from her own recollections, Diaz’s work analyzes how experiences can accompany and shape self damaging cycles.

By deconstructing and negotiating, a question emerges: can this contradiction be both our foundation and our condemnation at the same time?

Mark your calendars! This Thursday Benny Hickman and Maddy Noel will be presenting their Junior Exhibition ‘Interwoven Transcendence’ at Savage Gallery from 5-8 pm ⭐️💐

This exhibition is about exploring the spiritual aspect of relationships with nature and with the self. There is use of organic form to portray different forms of love and relationships, along with colorful paintings of manmade structures meant to highlight disruptions of nature within usual calm environments. Both artists utilize color, shape and texture to maintain a unique visual language and to show connection through their work.

Make sure to come by and see on Thursday!

Congratulations to Keithlyn Steter and Jaden Sullivan on their Senior Exhibition ‘To Control the Conduit’👏💐⭐️
By placing digital media in dialogue with mediums like wood and copper, the exhibition conjured both an ancient and modern atmosphere infused with traces of religious iconography. This tension between past and present invited viewers to reflect on how modern identity is rooted in historical and spiritual foundations.
