POV: You’re in the Blue Sky phase of a project ☁️

EDES 3 is knee-deep in the Blue Sky process for their class-wide project, turning the writing from Shared Worlds and artwork from Vis Dev into a themed environment!

Blue Sky is the first phase of the design process—where the sky is the limit and ideas come to life through writing, sketching, brainstorming, and lots (and lots) of index cards! As they near the end of this phase, students are narrowing down their scope, story, and all the details that will shape the final experience.

Blue Sky is all about collaboration, creativity, and dreaming BIG! ☁️✨

Our juniors are diving into Rhino 3D, a powerful modeling program widely used throughout the industry! 🖥️

Throughout the Entertainment Design program, students build their skills across a variety of industry-standard software, including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Unreal Engine, and ZBrush. Our curriculum is constantly evolving alongside the industry, ensuring our students graduate with the tools and skills they need to bring their ideas to life in the world of themed entertainment! 🎢

We had an amazing first week back here in Entertainment Design! Our rockstars jumped head first into new projects and new softwares. It was great to see familiar faces again and welcome our new students to the family!

Thank you to everyone who came out on Friday to celebrate our seniors and their incredible thesis projects at Senior Show!

We’re so proud of our seniors! Not just for what they created this year, but for the growth and dedication they’ve shown over all four years. We can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make in the industry! 🎸
