This is the sermon from Mothers Day 2025. My mother was guest preaching at my church and asked me to be apart of the sermon singing snippets from “Song of Ruth and Naomi”

This was truly the hardest music I have ever worked on in my entire career (and I had a college professor that had me singing a scene from Berg’s “Wozzek” my sophomore yr of college)

It is definitely not perfect, but I’m still proud of what I accomplished. I look forward to learning the rest of this piece and maybe even doing a full recording one day as there currently is no recording to be found anywhere online.

A perfectly preserved ancient Roman mosaic floor has been discovered near the northern Italian city of Verona, almost a century after the remains of a villa, believed to date to the 3rd century AD, were unearthed in a hilly area above the town of Negrar di Valpolicella.
