What an amazing year it has been at Spectrum Education. We served 37 families and 40 students PK-12th grade! We celebrated two of our students for completing four years of highschool! We're excited to announce the start of our new Graduate Class that will serve students over 18 years old. We have expanded our courses to include Technology, Geography, Pre-Calculus and Spanish III.
The end of the year was a little rocky with the shutdown of Canvas. We are working hard to find a platform that will perfectly meet our needs. The time, effort and resources required to get this ramped up by August will be extensive.
If you have ever wondered how you can support our mission, now is the time. We are raising funds to help cover the costs of this massive transition. I know money is tight for many of us but every dollar helps. We have a few families who have reached out to their family and friends and been able to donate hundreds of dollars in just a few days. Think, if you asked 10 friends to donate $10 that would be $100. If you asked 10 friends to donate $25 dollars that would be $250. While $250 may be a lot for one family, $10 or $25 is manageable. Again any amount helps.
