Ninja Obstacle Course is back at the Grand Prix — and it's gonna be great year!

🥷 Open to athletes ages 8 and under, first thing in the morning!
3 lanes running at once, head-to-head, so you'll know exactly who takes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd right on the spot.

If your little ninja is competing, get there early and cheer them on before the rest of the day's events even start. It's a great way to start a new athlete's tournament journey!

Whether you're a first-time competitor or a seasoned black belt, there's a division built for you. Here's what's on the mat September 26th:

🥋 Sparring — World Class sparring for red and black belts with full electronic Daedo gear, and Grassroots sparring for all other color belts, running side by side.

🎯 Poomsae — Side-by-side style competition for red and black belts scored on the Poomsae Pro system, plus traditional, team/pair, and color belt poomsae divisions for every age group.

🪵 Breaking — Freestyle breaking judged on style and difficulty, and power breaking where competitors go head-to-head to see who can break the most boards.

⚔️ Weapons — Athletes bring the power, flow, and energy of traditional weapons forms to the ring.

🎪 Ninja Obstacle & Demo Team — Special events for something a little different, right in the middle of the day.

Twenty years of the Grand Prix, and this lineup shows why it's become the tournament competitors look forward to every year.

20 years of the Grand Prix and this year we raised the bar.

We've been running this tournament for two decades, and every year we ask ourselves: how do we make it better for the athletes stepping onto the mat? This year, the answer shows up everywhere you look.

🏟️ Robarts Arena: real stadium seating, plenty of room for your whole team and family and friends to cheer from the stands. We've called it home for years, and it's still the best venue around.

⚖️ Certified referees: internationally and nationally certified officials on every mat, so every call is one you can trust.

🥋 Daedo Gen 3 equipment: red and black belt divisions compete in hogu, headgear, and gloves from the same electronic scoring system used at the highest levels of the sport (available for sale or rent).

📋 Poomsae Pro system : tournament-style poomsae, scored with the same precision as sparring.
