It's graduation season and you know what that means! PATH PARADES! Check out some of the graduates doing a final walk through their elementary schools! Congratulations Class of 2023, you did it! This past weekend was the Sarasota County Florida Bridge Designer Competition sponsored by the American Society of Civil Engineers. Students in this competition are tasked with using a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) program to design multiple custom working bridges with the lowest total cost.  McIntosh Middle had two students qualify for and attend the finals at North Port High School on Saturday morning. I am very proud to say both students did very well and scored a podium finish!
 
Ivee Boatwright secured a 3rd place finish along with a cool $150 in prize money!

Willis Smith, Bright Futures and GCBX hosted the STC high school and adult students in the Electricity, Plumbing, and Building Construction Trades Program at Selby Gardens.

Tesla visiting with STC Automotive. Soon to be a potential Business Partner as they move forward with their new facility here in Sarasota.

High School Nursing Assistant students began clinicals this week.  We will have partial weeks through the end of school, 40 hours worth!
 Mrs. Collier's 12 grade PN class was given a lovely breakfast to start their clinicals at Sunnyside Village. 👩‍⚕️😊
