Client success!
Remote client Paul came to me just after the first of the year ready to get back to his old self. He had a wedding coming up and wanted to look and feel better than ever on his big day.
Together we made a plan for his workouts while he was already working on his diet with a nutrition coach. I’m always excited when someone is investing in themselves and their health.
Paul was consistent with both his workouts and his meal plan, rarely straying from the plan, and if he did he jumped right back to where he left off. Dude was a machine!
Paul made great progress in that time and got lots of compliments on his physique. However, Paul wasn’t satisfied.
We’re continuing on! He’s back on the saddle after some deserved down time. Paul has big goals to gain even more lean mass while shredding the last layers of fat. Never satisfied, I love it. Can’t wait to see you in another few months 💪
CONGRATULATIONS PAUL on both tying the knot and taking your health and fitness into your own hands. Let’s go!!

Feeling invigorated at 40-50-60… will require more attention to detail, discipline, and better planning.
It DOES NOT mean you should assume you will be overweight, tired, and weak.
Eat real whole foods.
Sleep 7+ hours each night on a regular schedule.
Train smarter.
Don’t be “normal”, be healthy.

NEW YEAR, NEW HABITS!
This year will only be different if you choose to have a new plan to build new rituals, routines, and eventually habits.
📝
Start with 1-2 positive changes tomorrow and repeat it all week. Nail those for 2-3 weeks and begin stacking more. Dont be tempted to turn your whole life upside down.
*Go for a 20 minute walk.
🐪
*Increase your water intake - aim for at least 75oz/ day.
💧
*Replace process food with whole foods (even if it’s for one small snack/ meal each day)
🍎
*Carve out 2-3 non-negotiable times in your calendar for the gym.

Movement is medicine 💊
Nothing nurtures pain like a sedentary lifestyle.
Your body is built to move, and when you don’t give it the opportunity, the pain usually gets worse—not better.
That doesn’t mean rest shouldn’t be part of your recovery. It does mean that avoiding movement altogether is a bad play.
Keep exercising.
Go for walks.
Take the stairs.
Do the little things consistently—they add up in a big way.
And yes, strength training should still be part of the plan to get you back to pain-free living.
