We are pleased to announce that Ken Hall was named a recipient of the Ripple Effect Award from the Barancik Foundation! The Ripple Effect Teacher Award is presented by the Barancik Foundation to outstanding educators in Sarasota County Schools who create lasting impacts on students and the community. Created in memory of philanthropists Chuck and Margie Barancik, the award honors teachers who exemplify dedication and innovation.

We are all so incredibly fortunate to have Ken as a teacher here at Oak Park. Everyone sees the extreme level of effort, care, and concern he puts into his work every single day. Ken is an absolute superhero, and this recognition is well-deserved.

Our K-1 students had an amazing “space day” filled with hands-on learning and fun! They explored the concept of gravity by experimenting with balloons and water balloons—watching, predicting, and discovering how things move and fall in different ways. 🎈💧

From exciting space-themed activities to engaging science exploration, our young learners were curious, creative, and fully immersed all day long. We love seeing their excitement for learning take off! 🌟🪐
