Our students did an incredible job showcasing their creativity, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit through their student-run businesses. From handmade crafts and jewelry to sweet treats, games, and thoughtful creations, the Marketplace was filled with excitement, collaboration, and community.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our young entrepreneurs and celebrate their efforts. Experiences like these help students build confidence, problem-solving skills, communication, and independence in meaningful, real-world ways. 💛

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Celebrating NewGate’s Class of 2026 — Meet Ilakunda Jackson!

Ilakunda has been pursuing a Montessori education for approximately 12 years, beginning in the early levels, continuing through Primary, and now completing his journey through NewGate School’s Global Campus, which he joined in 8th grade. 💙

These days, Ilakunda is passionate about soccer, a sport that has played a major role in his life—bringing both purpose and enjoyment while teaching him valuable life lessons along the way. ⚽

“I am most grateful for the independence and self-discipline that my Montessori education has helped me develop. Especially through online learning, I have learned the importance of understanding what I am doing and why. That has helped me stay focused, manage my time well, and take full responsibility for my own learning.”

Through his Montessori pathway, Ilakunda has grown into someone who values growth, creativity, and purpose. His experiences with CAS involved him in soccer, community service, and personal development projects, all reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact.

Looking ahead, Ilakunda is focused on continuing to push his limits, seek out new opportunities, and leave a meaningful mark wherever he goes. 🌟

What a beautiful Teacher Appreciation Week at NewGate ✨

This past week, we had the joy of celebrating our incredible guides, teachers, and faculty with special treats and thoughtful surprises each day. From lunches and breakfast to gifts, coffee, cake, and cookies, it was a small way to say thank you for the care, dedication, and heart they bring to our school community every single day.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the parents who contributed and helped make this week so special. Your generosity and support mean so much.

We are deeply grateful for our amazing educators, and we are reminded once again that the NewGate School community truly rocks 💛

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Celebrating NewGate’s Class of 2026 — Meet KJ Ray!

KJ’s Montessori journey began early—he has been part of a Montessori environment since his toddler years, and joined the NewGate community in 2019 at the start of 6th grade. 💙

These days, KJ is all about music and creativity. He spends his time writing songs with his band, playing both drums and guitar, and expressing himself through sound and rhythm. When he’s not making music, you might also find him out skateboarding. 🥁🎸🛹

“I’m most grateful for the friends and teachers I’ve met throughout my education.”

Through Montessori, KJ has built meaningful relationships that have supported his growth both personally and creatively.

KJ is currently working hard to grow his band alongside his best friend Jaelen, building a presence in the local music scene. With 9 years of drumming and 4 years of guitar, his dedication and passion continue to drive him forward. 🎶

We’re proud of you, KJ, and excited to see where your music and creativity take you next! 🌟
