Is slow smooth and smooth fast?

And RO at A5 said "if youre filming to get Instagram famous" and that made me laugh, but was also a good reminder of the real reason we should film.

Self assessment.

These 3 stages alone lost me an estimated 9 seconds in time simply due to makeup shots. Its painful to watch, but important to understand where the time goes.

You have to understand the problem in order to fix it.

Stage comparison between myself and John Vlieger
Vlieger had the raw time so comparing to that run is the best way to analyze where I lost time.

He got me on the unloaded start and entry into the first position. He shot right to left and was able to split a bit faster than me. I chose to back out and maybe gained a bit back but not enough to overcome the faster splits.

2nd area I lost time was the engagement speed of the activator sequence. We shot the targets in the same order but he split and transitioned faster.

Final position i started shooting sooner and Vlieger prioritized getting into the final position while still shooting into the first target.

Sure, he's shooting open and im shooting CO. Do I expect to beat him? No, but this is the best way to find lost time.

How to dryfire: metronome transitions dryfire explained

Video got cut off, but the conclusion was to pay attention to where the falloff occurs, take note of why it happened and fix it.

Shot area 5 this weekend and all my gear ran perfectly, so huge shoutout to all my sponsors for helping me have no excuses.

My performance was mostly consistent but had a few stages that I let the fundamentals slip on and i lost a lot of match points as a result.

15th in CO is not where I wanted to be but im not mad about it. Shoutout to Jacob Hetherington for taking the CO win from concealment, thats a big baller move.

Videos coming shortly. I intend to do video analysis on my own videos and posting them. Stay tuned.
