Great turnout again this morning for our latest Rail Trail Discovery Series program. Mindy Fredenburg, assistant professor of science, taught the group how to use the iNaturalist smartphone app to identify plants and animals, contributing their observations to scientific research -- citizen science at its best!

The final installment of the Rail Trail Discovery Series takes place next week, Aug. 13 at 9 am, and will focus on identifying invasive species. Visit www.nccc.edu/discovery for more!

The college is excited to partner with Northern Area Health Education Center, Inc. to host a series of First Responder Camps in the Malone area! This free opportunity is for high school students who are interested in careers as first responders. The first camp starts Thursday, July 30th and runs once per week for four weeks.
