Another busy week in Mustang Country!

Although our volleyball team has a break this week, there are plenty of opportunities to show up, support our students, and cheer on the red and blue. Whether they’re competing at home or on the road, we’re proud of the way our Mustangs continue to represent Strayhorn.

📣 Mini Cheer Camp is here! Hosted by the SHS Cheerleaders for K–6th graders. Campers will practice September 12th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Strayhorn Gym and perform at halftime during the home game on September 18th! Cost is $45 (includes T-Shirt and Snacks) 📣

Big thanks to Jenny McCachren, recruiter for Northwest Mississippi Community College, for visiting Strayhorn High School! Jenny met with our December graduates to walk them through different program pathways, assist with registration, and set up campus tours. Do you see what I see? ❤️💙
When I look back at these pictures from Meet the Mustangs, I see more than teams, uniforms, and a packed stadium. I see students cheering for other students. I see teammates supporting teammates. I see a pride in our school that is growing—and you can feel it.
I can’t wait to see how that pride translates to the court, the field, the sidelines, the stands, and even the classroom.
No matter what the scoreboard says, these kids are learning what it means to show up for each other.
