🎆 Fireworks Safety Reminder 🎆

It’s that time of year when many people begin shooting fireworks. While fireworks can be fun to watch, they can also be dangerous when not handled properly.

For the safest experience, we always recommend attending a professional public fireworks show whenever possible. Public displays are handled by trained professionals and provide a safer way for families to enjoy the celebration.

If you choose to use fireworks at home, please remember:

✅ Always have adult supervision
✅ Use fireworks outdoors only
✅ Keep a bucket of water or hose nearby
✅ Light one firework at a time
✅ Never relight a dud firework
✅ Keep a safe distance
✅ Keep children and pets away
✅ Follow all local laws and safety instructions

Have fun, stay alert, and stay safe from all of us at St. Tammany Fire District #3!
