September is Baby Safety Month, and at MRD Learning Centers, keeping our little explorers safe is always our top priority! 👶✨

Whether your baby is just beginning to roll, crawl, or take their first steps, a quick room-by-room safety pass gives peace of mind. Here is a handy checklist for childproofing at home:

- Anchor heavy furniture & TVs securely to the wall to prevent tip-overs.
- Install safety gates at both the top and bottom of all stairways.
- Cover electrical outlets, cushion sharp table corners, and tuck away loose cords.
- Lock away household cleaners and medications, keeping small choking hazards well out of reach.

At our center, we believe every child deserves to feel loved, valued, and accepted exactly as they are. We model kindness, compassion, and respect every single day because we know the impact these lessons have on a child’s heart and their future.

No child should ever feel left out, hurt, or afraid because of who they are. Bullying and unkind behavior have no place in our learning environment, and we are committed to helping children understand the importance of treating others with empathy and care.

Every child is wonderfully unique, bringing their own personality, talents, and gifts to our community. Each one has something special to offer, and it is our privilege to help them grow in a place where they feel safe, supported, and celebrated.

Together with our families, we can continue building a community where every child knows they matter and that they belong.

In October 2025, I stepped into the role of Center Director at 5-12 Learning Academy. At that time, we had just three full-time students and approximately 15 children enrolled in our before- and after-school program.

Today, as I reflect on how far we have come in just nine short months, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude, pride, and emotion. Through hard work, dedication, faith, and the unwavering support of my incredible team, we have grown in ways I could have only hoped for.

But the truth is, this growth would not have been possible without our families.

Every parent who chose to trust us with their most precious gifts—your children—has played a part in this journey. I know that entrusting someone with the care of your child is one of the greatest acts of trust a parent can give, and I am truly humbled and honored by the confidence you place in us each and every day.

Because of you, I am incredibly proud to announce that 5-12 Learning Academy is officially at 100% capacity! 🎉❤️

This announcement means so much more than simply reaching a number. It represents the relationships we have built, the trust we have earned, the children we have had the privilege of watching grow, and the love and dedication my team pours into our center every single day.

If you are looking for a fun, safe, loving, and nurturing learning environment for your child, we would love the opportunity to connect with your family. While we are currently at capacity, we do have a waitlist available.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every family who has supported us, believed in us, and trusted us. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your children’s lives. This milestone belongs to all of us, and I am beyond grateful for the journey that brought us here.
