It seems a majority of folks start out with great attitude and a passion for learning/improving when they are fairly new to the "workforce." Then, the usual mismanagement, mistreatment, neglect, unrealistic expectations, and inferiority shaming become a staple in the workplace. The A+ people are beat down and a bit jaded. Is this you?

Remember, with an A+ desire to change your direction you do not need natural, awesome skills. Skills can be taught--motivation and attitude cannot.

In the corporate world, many "leaders" possess a self-righteous agenda and believe they can do no wrong. They pile responsibilities onto others with no idea or concern for their existing workload. They make decisions without consulting those affected and without having all the data necessary. They drive their fancy vehicles and publicly parade their business and pleasure excursions to those far down the ladder. They are blind to the talent within the organization. They make written and verbal promises of position and monetary growth with no intention to deliver.

The unbearable last straw is they refuse to accept any and all constructive criticism because they consider themselves above reproach. As one illegitimate "leader" once stated after an employee refused to follow his instruction due to it creating extreme danger to human life: "No one questions me. I am the f****** owner, and I will do whatever the f*** I want." He was actually a manager, not an owner, but constantly portrayed himself as an owner to employees and clients.

Unfit management is company cancer.

If this ⬇️ is your attitude today, then why are you not pushing for a change? Doing the same things produces the same results.

Lesson: If work "sucks" today like it did last week and for the past several months, it will continue to "suck."

Can't pay the bills this month just like last month? What can change that?

YOU. YOU are the key. YOU decide what to do differently. YOU drive the results.

Others may cause you trouble, but YOU have the power to choose the outcome.
