This past weekend was our Grandmasters 78th birthday celebration! It was also the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Martial Arts International facility of my Grandmaster in Philippine Martial Arts, GM Julius Melegrito. 8,000 SF facility that hosted a weekend of legendary training seminars.

Friday was an executive training session for all school owners put on by GM Julius Melegrito, very informative information for school owners, excellent presentation!

Saturday seminar training sessions included the legendary founder of Combat Hapkido GM Pellegrini. GM Julius Melegrito going over Filipino stick applications and locking applications with sticks. GM Mark Gridley presented pressure Point applications. The seminars concluded after presentations of awards and promotions.

Axiom Martial Arts had a few big promotions:
Senior Master Instructor Tyler Kearns was promoted to 7th Dan in Combat Hapkido.

Augie Meyer and Jeff Ballinger were promoted to 1st Dan in Combat Hapkido.

Professor Sage Lehr, Senior Master Tyler Kearns, August Meyer and Jeff Ballinger all were certified in level 2 tactical pressure point applications.

Sarah Carmody and Carl Fox both attended the filipino Martial Arts course taught by Grandmaster Melegrito.

Saturday night was the celebration of Grandmaster john pellegriri 78th birthday! Good food, great stories & camaraderie, lots of fun karaoke moments! What a fun and memorable night!
